Zetor Forterra 135
Breaking Records and Winning Awards:
The Zetor Forterra 135 tractor with it’s new 16 valve engine has won one of the most prestigious awards in a tough test conducted by the German Agricultural Society (DLG). It became one of the tractors with four cylinder engines offering the best fuel economy on the market, without compromising its HP.
The Zetor Forterra 135 belongs to a completely innovated Forterra 2010 range. Its characteristics include elegant facelift, interior innovations and improved accessories, as well as a completely new engine which played a key role in the aforementioned success. For the first time ever, this model is powered by a four cylinder Z 1605 engine with V16 Technology. It is a brand new concept ensuring the increase of the engine output by 30%, the improvement of torque by more than 47%, as well as improved efficiency of its cooling system and especially better fuel economy.
Fuel consumption measurement also contributed to the positive test results: with only 283g/kWh the Forterra 135 became one of the top products, being 5.7% more effective than the average figure for all previously tested tractors. Therefore, its 180 litre fuel tank capacity is good for the whole workday without refuelling.
Lifting power, hydraulic horsepower and manoeuvrability of the Zetor Forterra 135 have also succeeded in the Test.
